Caught a a pretty good Counting Crows' show at Freedom Hill in Sterling Heights. The Gaslight Anthem opened.

Freedom Hill Amphitheater

First-ever visit to Freedom Hill Amphitheater (Michigan Lottery Amphitheater at Freedom Hill) was to see Counting Crows. Great venue, similar to Pine Knob but half the size. Great evening.

Our celebration of Mom and Dad's 60th wedding anniversary took us to the Gold Star Bar, the self-proclaimed oldest bar in Wyandotte. It was a quick visit, but a fun place we'll have to get back to sometime.

A quick food stop before Counting Crows' concert. Steak bites and a Slim Jim.
